The Golden Fry Reviews

Might just be the best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. Lovely fresh cod, no skin on the fish. Very fresh and tasty. My new favourite for sure.

Golden fry is always consistent.
Too many places you order and you wonder will it be a good one or bad one this time.
But Golden Fry always keeps the same quality/standards. The rare time there was a mistake in order, they always come straight back with a replacement. Great customer service. And consistently good food!

No show one hour after the order was supposed to be delivered and showed as delivered.
Rang. Guy hadn’t a clue what was going on.
Said on the way !!!
Still no show. Picked cash on delivery as it’s not the first time but will be the last so no cost.
Had to order elsewhere.
Choose cash as payment then if no show, no payment.

Ordered a delivery for 19:00, specifically so it would not be sitting steaming up in a car during rush hour traffic. Guess what? It arrived at 17:30 - steamed and stink. Left me short a dip too, Stink... Avoid !

II have been getting food from you for the last 3 years and up to 4 weeks ago was very pleased. my first bad experience was about 3 weeks ago, the food was barely warm, the same last week, the batter on the fish was dark brown and the fish was hard and yellow, my pie filling was just a lump of jelly with bits of kidney in it, and the food was just warm, on both occasions the delivery was late. I live quite close to your shop.so don't know how your delivery can take so long. However I had a single order of fish and chips between the above orders and it was perfect. I will be thinking twice before ordering from you again.

I also left a message for someone to call me back and they never did.
